We stand in solidarity and unity with our brothers and sisters in Jamaica as we work together toward a future that honors the unbreakable spirit of a people united, and the heartbeat of an island nation which has shaped the world.
In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, countless individuals, families, and communities throughout Jamaica are faced with unimaginable loss.
Now is the moment to rebuild and restore – not only critical resources and infrastructure, but also hope.
When one of us is hurting, all of us must answer the call.
Join us.
Hope for the Babies
Hurricane Melissa has created a humanitarian disaster on many levels — including ongoing threats to the safety, health, and survival of the youngest members of our communities — the babies.
Ghetto Youths Foundation’s Hope for the Babies initiative calls upon all of us to ensure that our most vulnerable are cared for, with the utmost of care.
Join us.
Safe Shelters
Approximately 330 shelters are currently operative across Jamaica, each housing dozens and sometimes hundreds of displaced community members who have lost their homes.
With no clear pathway to immediate recovery, displaced individuals, families, and communities are sheltering in places with no electricity, wifi, or clean drinking water.
Ghetto Youths Foundation is committed to an immediate intervention to assist in shelter safety.
Alongside our partners, Global Empowerment Mission and Hotwire Communications, we are working in real time to deliver critical resources to shelters across the island.
Join us.
Ghetto Youths Foundation relief resources are directed toward both immediate needs on the ground and long-term rebuilding efforts.
